Taiwanese Mini Hot Pot!

I’ve never been a big fan of the hot pot.

Especially those ones where everyone shares a massive pot, dipping their used utensils in the broth, creating a tepid pool of salivated filth.

If you are like me, then you’ll like the ‘mini’ hot pot or shabu shabu, which is super popular in Taiwan, especially during the winter.

Remembering the Ronin Warriors (aka Samurai Troopers)

I came across this toy in a Taiwanese department store and it brought back some memories.

I am sure I used to watch this anime, though I can’t remember much about it – except that it was very cool.

Unfortunately, I don’t think it ever got much appreciation, other than being looked upon as a poor man’s version of Saint Seiya (aka Knights of the Zodiac).

Thank god for Google and Wikipedia – I now know they are the Ronin Warriors (aka Samurai Troopers).  Gay name but cool armour and weapons.
